Vodacom claims positive results of partnership with Department of Basic Education

Vodacom Group's executive leadership appeared before the Portfolio Committee on Basic Education on 24 April to provide an update on the collaborative work by Vodacom and the Department of Basic Education (DBE). Vodacom Foundation's Mobile Education Programme uses mobile communications to enhance the education system to help pupils in rural and township schools to break the cycle of poverty and get ready for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It claims this work is already yielding positive results.
