Vodacom Group CEO donates third of salary to coronavirus solidarity fund for 3 months

Vodacom Group CEO Shameel Joosub has announced he will donate a third of his salary to the solidarity fund for the next three months. The operator said Joosub has heeded the call by President Cyril Ramaphosa to aid South Africans in the battle against coronavirus. The solidarity fund enables individuals and organisations to contribute to the detection and prevention of Covid-19 and provides medical care for those who need it and support for those whose lives have been disrupted.
