Vodacom Group partners with AUDA-NEPAD for vaccine roll-out in Africa

Vodacom Group, part of the Vodafone Group, will work with AUDA-NEPAD to build digital infrastructure to manage vaccinations in up to 55 countries. This follows successful deployments in South Africa, to manage Covid-19 vaccinations, and in Mozambique, Tanzania and Nigeria, to manage infant inoculations. The roll-out of mVacciNation, developed by Vodacom Group member Mezzanine, is the first project in a public-private partnership between Vodacom and AUDA-NEPAD to boost African digital transformation and build resilience for the post-Covid world.
