Vodacom Innovator Trust now supports 53 SMMEs

Vodacom Group says that the Innovator Trust that it set up in 2014 has so far drawn on ZAR 600 million of the ZAR 750 million loan facility to invest in equity. The trust has grown from supporting eighteen small, medium-sized and micro-enterprises (SMMEs) in its first year to 53 on 31 March 2017. Turnover at the SMMEs grew in the 2016/2017 financial period, and permanent staff employment rose by 71 percent during the same period.
