Vodacom pays out TZS 427.5 bln in dividends to shareholders

Vodacom Tanzania said it paid a total of TZS 427.5 billion in dividends to its equity shareholders, of which TZS 400 billion is a special dividend and TZS 27.5 billion its final dividend for the financial year ended 31 March. In the past year, the company also spent over TZS 327.7 billion with more than 120 local suppliers and partner companies in Tanzania and over TZS 1.1 billion directed at corporate social investments.
