Vodacom runs school agriculture scheme in Eastern Cape

Vodacom Eastern Cape Region has partnered the Eastern Cape Department of Education and Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform (DRDAR) to launch of Phase II of the School Agriculture and Food Security programme, with an intake of 80 public schools in the province. This year's programme incorporates schools teaching pupils with special needs. It introduces a high-tech platform for schools to sell produce directly to the market.
