Vodacom South Africa offers free internet access to universities

Thursday 28 September 2017 | 09:48 CET | News
Vodacom South Africa is offering zero-rated internet services to universities for students and staff who are its subscribers. Vodacom has already supplied nineteen of the 23 South African universities, including the University of Cape Town (UCT), with free internet access. In the case of UCT, sites will be accessible through agreed uniform resource locators (URL), internet protocols (IP) and ports to provide addresses to particular pages and files on the internet.
