Vodacom Tanzania partners Laina Finance on phone loans

Vodacom Tanzania has entered into a joint venture with Laina Finance to offer financing for customers buying phones.  Vodacom customers can apply for a loan at its stores across the country and receive credit after being evaluated. With the funding programme, customers can receive up to TZS 1 million after an initial deposit of 40 percent followed by monthly repayment phases of up to three months through M-Pesa.
