Vodacom Tanzania to pay out TZS 4.1 bln interest to M-Pesa customers

Vodacom Tanzania announced that it will give out a total of TZS 4.1 billion in dividends to M-Pesa customers who have used the service from July to September 2020. This is an increase of 4.37 percent from the last dividend payment. Director of M-Pesa Epimack Mbeteni said that the interest will be paid to M-Pesa customers, agents, super agents and M-Pesa business partners as well as retail agents; these will all receive payments based on transactions made via their mobile wallets.
