Wednesday 13 March 2019 | 09:42 CET | News
Vodafone Egypt has opened a EGP 500 million tender for a solar park that will be able to provide 50 MW of capacity for its networks, Renewable Now reported. The move is part of the company's pledge to start using 100 percent renewable electricity for its global operations by 2025. The company will seek to sign power purchase agreements (PPAs) and build on-site renewable energy installations across its technology centres and base station sites.
