Vodafone expects 5G network to be running in most of Qatar in time for 2022 men's FIFA World Cup

Vodafone Qatar is expecting to provide 5G coverage to major parts of the country by 2022 in time for the FIFA World Cup, Gulf Times reported. It switched on its 5G network just over a year ago and it now covers key locations in the country, including 70 percent of Doha. Diego Camberos, Chief Operating Officer, said that Vodafone Qatar is very ambitious, which is in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
