Vodafone Germany builds up fibre network with Fibre Deep infrastructure

Vodafone Germany said it is reinforcing its fibre network with so-called 'GigaGlasfaser' by using 'Fibre Deep' infrastructure. The company delivers high-speed connections over a fibre-optic network that runs deep into the city and ends at fibre-optic nodes. The nodes are usually several hundred meters from apartments and houses and they convert the optical signal into electrical impulses for the coaxial network segment.
