Vodafone Germany calls for alliance with Deutsche Telekom, Telefonica to cover white spots

Monday 25 February 2019 | 09:42 CET | News
Vodafone Germany has called for an alliance with Deutsche Telekom and Telefonica to cover so-called white spots in Germany, the CEO of Vodafone Germany Hannes Ametsreiter said in an interview with Welt Am Sonntag. Each of the three network operators would have one third of the areas with white spots, the CEO said. One operator would build the mobile station, while all three would set up their antennas on it, he said, adding that more public subsidies would help to cover the areas with white spots.
