Vodafone Germany CEO attacks Telekom DSL fees

Vodafone Germany CEO Friedrich Joussen has criticised the fees paid by rival operators to lease a DSL or VDSL connection from Telekom Deutschland. In an interview with 'Focus' magazine, Joussen said that the fee of EUR 10.20 per month per line was far too high, and has proposed an increase to EUR 12.90. Joussen has called on Telekom to reveal how much money it has really invested and is currently investing to upgrade its fixed-line network. He said rival operators such as Vodafone were now paying so much money to Telekom that they can no longer make a profit, and called on the federal
