Vodafone Germany launches smart street light pilot

Vodafone Germany has partnered with start-up ICE-Gateway to develop IoT-connected street lighting. On its Dusseldorf campus, Vodafone Germany has introduced the smart street lighting as a pilot project. Each lamppost is connected to the Vodafone LTE network via a SIM card, which can be operated by a remote software platform.
