Vodafone Germany has announced the new Red XS entry-level smartphone tariff, offering LTE mobile broadband for EUR 29.99 per month. Customers selecting the Red XS plan can choose from a range of LTE smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy Express II or Nokia Lumia 625 for EUR 1. The new Red XS plan also includes a call and SMS flat-rate to all German networks, plus a data flat-rate with 200 MB at up to 14.4 Mbps. Customers wanting the maximum LTE speed of up to 150 Mbps can book the relevant LTE option for an extra EUR 10 per month. This will double the high-speed data allowance to 400 MB.
