Vodafone Germany promotes M2M communications on new platform

One fifth of German companies currently use at least one M2M service, according to the 'Vodafone M2M Adoption Barometer' conducted on behalf of Vodafone Germany. It said 55 percent of the companies asked plan to use M2M communication by 2016. In the Consumer Electronics sector the response was 74 percent, and 62 percent among energy suppliers. In order to make M2M accessible for a wider range of companies, Vodafone has launched a new platform where all the data comes together and can be accessed internationally, regardless of sector or size of the company.
