Vodafone Germany sets up 5G standalone network for broadcast at RTL

Vodafone Germany said live interviews were broadcast in real time for the first time via its standalone 5G network set up in the broadcasting centre of RTL. The TV cameras provided by RTL were equipped with 5G-capable production technology. Thanks to the direct access to the 5G network, live images were transmitted in real time to the broadcasting centre, processed and broadcast on TV screens.
