Vodafone Germany to offer new mobile data flat-rate

Vodafone Germany will launch a new entry-level mobile internet data tariff called MobileInternet 3.6 Light on 16 March, the company has confirmed to teltarif.de. This will include a 1 GB data allowance and will support download speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps and upload speeds of up too 760 kbps. Once a user has reached their allocated data allowance, bandwidth will be throttled to a maximum 64 kbps for the rest of the month. The Vodafone MobileInternet 3.6 Light will be available for EUR 14.99 per month until 30 April, compared to the standard price of EUR 19.99 per month, with customers needing to
