Vodafone Ghana begins charging customers higher Communication Service Tax

Vodafone Ghana says it started charging its customers the revised Communication Service Tax (CST) from September, as announced in the mid-year budget review that took effect from 19 August. Vodafone said that the increase in the tax from 6 percent to 9 percent would be reflected on customers invoices in future. The operator told customers that their September bill will include a pro-rated CST accrued in August.
