Vodafone Group business unit Kabel Deutschland has been granted a retrial in a case against Deutsche Telekom over claims the Telekom is overcharging for the use of cable ducts. The case will be reheard by a panel of judges in Frankfurt after the Federal Court of Justice earlier this week overturned two lower court rulings dismissing Vodafone's claim, Bloomberg reports. Vodafone is seeking EUR 375.5 million from Deutsche Telekom, as well as a two-thirds cut to its annual fees of EUR 100 million for access to the cable ducts.
