Vodafone Hungary fined HUF 1.2 bln for misleading 4G roaming ads

Hungary's consumer protection authority GVH fined Vodafone Hungary HUF 1.176 billion for the misleading claim in a 2015-2016 ad campaign that its subscribers could join 'Europe's largest 4G partner network'. Between September 2015 and August 2016, Vodafone Hungary promoted its service with slogans such as "Join Europe's largest 4G partner network!" and "Join Europe's largest 4G network!".
