Vodafone Idea quarterly revenue drops 7%, EBITDA plunges nearly 29%

Vodafone Idea saw its total revenue for the second quarter ended 30 September reach INR 120.2 billion, down 7.1 percent compared to the previous quarter. EBITDA amounted to INR 9.8 billion, which represents a sequential decline of 28.7 percent. The merger of Vodafone India with Idea Cellular was completed on 31 August 2018. This quarter (Q2 of FY19) results include results from Idea Cellular up to 30 August 2018 and results for Vodafone Idea from 31 August to 30 September, hence are not comparable to the same period of 2017.
