Vodafone Ireland service revenues grow 3.4% in Q3

Vodafone Ireland saw its organic service revenue growth improve to 3.4 percent in its fiscal third quarter to December, compared to 2.0 percent in the previous quarter, thanks to strength in the fixed market and a return to growth in mobile. Quarterly service revenue totaled GBP 173 million. The operator added 13,000 mobile customers in the three months, with 17,000 postpaid additions offsetting the loss of 4,000 prepaid users. The total base reached 2.033 million at the end of 2015, of which 48.9 percent contract customers compared to 45.7 percent a year earlier. Fixed broadband customers
