Vodafone launches 100 Mbps fibre service in Novara

Vodafone has announced the activation of a 100 Mbps fibre-optic service in the northwestern city of Novara. The operator has joined forces with the city council to triple the coverage of its FTTC network from 15,000 premises to over 35,000 by the end of March next year. Vodafone will also be installing fibre optic connections to link up Novara's public buildings, including schools and libraries. In October the company announced that work had begun on extending its fibre-optic network to Novara and seven other Italian cities: Treviso, Vicenza, Settimo Torinese, Imola, Sesto San Giovanni,
