Vodafone Netherlands loses 41,000 mobile customers in Q2

Vodafone Netherlands reported service revenue of EUR 884 million for the fiscal first half, up 1.1 percent on an organic basis from the year-earlier period. Vodafone attributed the growth to expansion in fixed services, with the number of 'Vodafone Thuis' customers up 138 percent. It counted in total 73,000 fixed customers at the end of September, excluding business subscribers. This market segment increased by 3 percent. The operator targets a market share of 10 percent in the consumer segment within five years. In the mobile market, Vodafone lost 41,000 customers in the last three months,
