Vodafone New Zealand to no longer accept cheques as bill payment method

Vodafone New Zealand has announced it will no longer accept cheques as a bill payment method starting 30 April. According to company CFO John Boniciolli, Vodafone saw a decline of almost 40 percent in cheque volumes in 2019, and as of February the operator had less than 3,500 customers paying by cheque, with the downward trend continuing every month.
