Vodafone NZ switches on RBI site at Levin

Vodafone New Zealand has switched on its newly built cell site at Levin South in the Horowhenua district as part of the governments Rural Broadband Initiative (RBI). The 25 metre monopole tower makes mobile coverage and wireless broadband available to over 1,200 premises in the area for the first time. Vodafone will also upgrade two more of its existing four sites around Horowhenua while sites at Foxton and Levin Central have already been upgraded.
