Vodafone overhauls complaint oversight after Ofcom fine

Vodafone apologised for the compliance breaches that led UK regulator Ofcom to fine it a record GBP 4.6 million and said it has overhauled its management control and escalation procedures for customer complaints. Ofcom said the fine followed "serious and sustained" breaches of consumer-protection rules revealed by two separate investigations.
