Vodafone Portugal, Ericsson start smart city competition

Vodafone Portugal and Ericsson have launched the fifth edition of the Big Smart Cities competition, offering EUR 20,000 for startups that present the best 'smart cities' ideas. Mobility, participation and inclusion, tourism, quality of life and environment are the five areas of focus in the 2017 edition. The final will take place on 11 July, and the winner will receive EUR 10,000, six months of acceleration at Vodafone Power Lab and a visit to Ericsson's innovation centre in Sweden.
