Vodafone Qatar H1 revenue falls 7% to QAR 1.07 bln

Vodafone Qatar reported a 7 percent fall in its revenues for the fiscal first half ended 30 September to QAR 1.07 billion. The operator ended the period with 1.49 million customers, an increase of 8 percent compared to the same period in 2014. ARPU of QAR 111 for fiscal Q2 was down 13 percent year-on year, but stable compared to the previous quarter. EBITDA reached QAR 211 million for the first half, down 29 percent year-on-year and representing an EBITDA margin of 20 percent. Vodafone posted a net loss of QAR 213 million for the period.
