Vodafone Qatar Q3 revenue up 2% to QAR 537 mln

Vodafone Qatar reported an 8 percent decline in revenue to QAR 1.6 billion for the nine months to 31 December 2015. The mobile operator's net loss reached QAR 286 million for the period, delivering a loss per share of QAR 0.34. The firm ended the quarter with 1.5 million mobile customers, up 6 percent compared to December 2014 and the highest ever customer base of the company. Revenue for the third quarter rose by 2 percent to QAR 537 million. Revenue growth would have been 5 percent had the regulated mobile termination rate not been reduced, Vodafone said.
