Vodafone Romania Foundation backs project for kids with diabetes

Vodafone Romania Foundation is backing a CSR project that implemented a tele-medicine system that so far helped 150 children with insulin-dependent diabetes benefit from modern ways of monitoring their glycemia levels. The foundation is supporting the programme through the "Connecting for Good" programme with the acquisition and use of monitoring equipment. The organisation's funding for this project amounted to more than RON 270,000. The platform was implemented in August 2017 within the first Telemedicine Center for Pediatric Diabetes in Romania developed by the Diabetes Support
