Vodafone, Telefonica deploy IdDAS system in Berlin

Vodafone and Telefonica have upgraded mobile coverage in Berlin for the New Year's Eve celebrations on Strasse des 17. Juni, Teltarif.de reports. Another seven antennae will be added to the 20 that were installed for the football world cup, boosting data capacity and coverage. They are using an idDAD system from Cobham Wireless.
