Vodafone to donate EUR 88,000 to charities across Germany

Vodafone Germany announced that its employees and works councils donated more than EUR 88,000 to welfare institutions in Germany. The amount comes from the operator rewarding employees' ideas with a donation. When an employee submits an improvement suggestion to the company's ideas management platform, an internal expert reviews the idea and creates a report. If the reports is written within 14 days, Vodafone pays EUR 50 into an expert donation pot. In the last fiscal year 2014/2015, EUR 88,000 was raised.
