Vodafone to invest INR 130 billion in India

Vodafone plans to invest INR 130 billion (approximately GBP 1.3 billion) for capacity augmentation and new business initiatives in India. Since starting operations in India in 2007, Vodafone reports it has already invested over INR 1.11 trillion. Vodafone India currently has over 188 million customers, of which 100 million are from rural areas.
