Vodafone Turkey revenues surge 21.3% in December quarter

Service revenue in Turkey grew 21.3 percent to GBP 405 million in fiscal Q3 to 31 December 2015, reflecting continued strong growth in both consumer contract and enterprise revenue, driven by growth in both the customer base and ARPU. The number of mobile customers rose to 21.868 million from 21.561 million at the end of October. Of the total customer base, 43.5 percent were postpaid customers and 46.5 percent were prepaid customers. The company added 318,000 postpaid customers and lost 11,000 prepaid customers in the quarter. ARPU was TRY 25.8, down from TRY 25.9 in the previous quarter and
