Vodafone Turkey service revenue down to EUR 424 mln in December quarter

Vodafone Turkey saw its service revenue decrease to EUR 424 million in the fiscal second quarter to 31 December from EUR 520 million in the year-ago period. Mobile service revenue also dropped to EUR 394 million from EUR 489 million. The operator had 23.427 million mobile customers at the end of 2018, a decrease from 23.723 million three months earlier after net additions of 345,000 postpaid subscribers and a loss 641,000 prepaid lines. Postpaid end-users represented 56.1 percent of the mobile customer base, up from 53.9 percent a quarter earlier. Mobile churn was 31.3 percent, up from 25.3
