Vodafone Ukraine resumes connection in areas controlled by separatists

Mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine has completed the repairs of its backbone line to the area controlled by pro-Russian separatists. The operator claims that services have already been fully restored in the entire area of the Lugansk region. There are still no services in the Donetsk region. The operator claims that the disruption could have been caused by damaged equipment or by power supply cuts there.
