Thursday 1 February 2018 | 11:22 CET | News
The Deutscher Genossenschafts-Verlag (DG Verlag), the competence centre for services and products of the Cooperative Financial Network Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken, will launch a new mobile payment service in the summer of 2018 that uses technology provided by G+D Mobile Security. The service will be made available to about 85 percent of Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken's customers. Since December 2017, the service is tested by the financial cooperative as part of a 'Family&Friends' pilot project for mobile payment via smartphones using a digitised credit card or girocard.
