Vonage fined by Ofcom for emergency call service failure

UK telecoms regulator Ofcom has fined VoIP provider Vonage GBP 24,500 for failing to ensure that customers had uninterrupted access to emergency services. The fine has been reduced by 30 percent after Vonage admitted liability and agreed to settle the case.
