VosCom to take over Bahamas Wimax

The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA) of the Bahamas has announced that is has received a proposed transaction notification from Last Mile Communications (LMC) and US Virgin Island fibre optic firm VosCom to transfer all outstanding LMC shares to VosCom. LMC is the legal name of local wireless broadband provider Bahamas Wimax. The regulator has invited any interested parties to submit feedback regarding the proposed takeover.
