VTR Q1 revenues up 11.5% on mobile expansion

Tuesday 7 May 2013 | 16:13 CET | News
Chilean operator VTR posted revenues of USD 250.4 million for the first quarter, up 11.5 percent from a year earlier. Operating cash flow increased 13.3 percent to USD 85.2 million, parent company Liberty Global reported. The growth was driven largely by the cable operator's expansion in the mobile market. The company's ARPU improved slightly, to CLP 30,721 from CLP 30,613 a year earlier, and the number of revenue-generating units was up 5.3 percent year-on-year to 1.168 million. The share of triple-play customers was stable at around 46 percent, and VTR averaged 2.13 services per customer.
