VTR revenues rise 5% to CLP 124.3 bln in Q1

Chilean cable operator VTR saw its first-quarter revenues decrease by 10 percent to EUR 225.3 million, from EUR 250.4 million in the year-ago period, parent company UPC reported. In local currency, VTR says for the first three months ended 31 March 2014, it generated total revenue of CLP 124.3 billion, an increase of 5 percent in local currency compared to CLP 118.3 billion for the corresponding prior year period.
