Walmart to launch first tablet under Onn store brand

US retailer Walmart plans to launch an inexpensive, kid-friendly tablet under its Onn store brand, according to Bloomberg. The device will be made by a Chinese supplier and run on Google's Android operating system, according to photos found on a database of wireless product applications filed with the US Federal Communications Commission. Walmart spokeswoman Tara House confirmed the information, but declined to give any further details.
