Waoo! gains 20,000 clients in 8 months helped by streaming

Danish fibre broad provider Waoo! said the popularity of streaming television programmes has benefited the company by boosting demand for stable internet connections. In the first eight months of 2014, Waoo! has gained 20,000 customers and its half-year profit was DKK 4 million above plan. At the same time, traditional TV providers have been hit by the trend towards streaming.
