Warner Bros buys Softbank's DramaFever online video platform

Warner Bros. has acquired Softbank-owned Dramafever, a streaming-video subscription service specializing in Korean TV shows and film dramas. Via the Dramafever acquisition, Warner Bros. plans to add new over-the-top services, Variety reports, citing Craig Hunegs, president of business and strategy for Warner Bros. Television Group. The deal is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of this year. No financial details related to the transaction have been disclosed.
