German SVOD service Watchever has launched the KiDS app for iPad and iPhone, a stand-alone service for children. The additional service for EUR 4.99 per month with series and films selected by experts is appropriate for children aged 3-10. In the PIN-locked 'parents' room', parents can create up to five user profiles and set age restrictions and the duration via a timer. Further features, including an offline mode, are in preparation.
