Wave raises USD 125 mln for West Coast fibre roll-out

US broadband operator Wave has raised USD 125 million to continue its fibre roll-out along the West Coast and expand its business services division. The new financing is an add-on to an existing first lien term loan and will be used to expand in Washington, Oregon and California. Wave said it's adding more than 100 route miles of owned fibre each month to its network of more than 5,500 route fibre miles, serving markets from the San Francisco Bay area north to the Canadian border.
