Wayra Spain and TheVentureCity to jointly invest in deep tech startups

Telefonica's Wayra Spain innovation hub has announced an agreement with global accelerator TheVentureCity to jointly invest in startups in fields including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, video, cybersecurity and edge computing. The partners have committed to awarding EUR 250,000 in grants to selected startups, as well as organising events and activities to promote companies already in their investment portfolios and to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Spain.
